Inversa de orden n por sistema de columnas

Hallamos una inversa de orden $n$ por sistema de columnas.

Enunciado
Hallar la inversa de la matriz de orden $n:$
$$A=\begin{bmatrix} 1 & 2 & 3&\ldots & n\\ 0 &1 & 2&\ldots & n-1 \\
0 & 0 & 1&\ldots & n-2\\ \vdots&&&&\vdots \\ 0 & 0 & 0&\ldots & 1\end{bmatrix}\;.$$

Solución
Dado que la matriz $A$ es triangular superior, conviene hallar su inversa tomando como incógnitas las columnas de $A^{-1},$ pues el sistema correspondiente es particularmente sencillo. Tenemos; $$A^{-1}A=I\Leftrightarrow \begin{bmatrix}{C_1}&{C_2}&{\ldots}&C_n\end{bmatrix}A=\begin{bmatrix}{I_1}&{I_2}&{\ldots}&I_n\end{bmatrix}$$ $$\Leftrightarrow \left \{ \begin{matrix}C_1=I_1 \\2C_1+C_2=I_2\\3C_1+2C_2+C_3=I_3\\\ldots \end{matrix}\right.$$ Obtenemos sucesivamente: $$C_1=I_1,\;C_2=-2I_1+I_2,\;C_3=I_1-2I_2+I_3,\; C_4=I_2-2I_3+I_3,\;\ldots$$ La matriz $A^{-1}$ es por tanto: $$A^{-1}=\begin{bmatrix} 1 & -2 & 1& 0 &\ldots & 0& 0\\ 0 &1 & -2& 1&\ldots & 0 & 0\\
0 & 0 & 1&-2 &\ldots & 0&0\\ 0 & 0 & 0& 1 &\ldots & 0&0\\\vdots&&&&&&\vdots \\ 0 & 0 & 0& 0&\ldots & 1&-2\\0 & 0 & 0& 0&\ldots & 0&1\end{bmatrix}.$$
